Hi, I’m Jordan

I’m a family, maternity, newborn and elopement photographer based in the Illawarra, capturing the in-between moments that often mean the most.

For the past 10 years, I’ve also worked as an early childhood teacher, which has shaped so much of the way I approach photography. It’s given me a deep understanding of children, their rhythms, their emotions, their curiosity and how to create a space where they feel safe, relaxed, and free to just be themselves. This is especially important in my sessions, where I always follow the child’s lead and allow moments to unfold naturally.

I started photography because I’ve always been drawn to real connection—the quiet little details, the laughter that isn’t posed, the way families are with each other when they’re simply comfortable and present. That’s what I aim to capture in every session.

My approach is gentle and relaxed. I don’t believe in stiff posing or forcing moments that don’t feel natural. Instead, I guide you just enough so you feel comfortable, then step back and let your family’s connection do the rest.

These seasons of life move so quickly, whether you’re waiting to meet your baby, soaking up the newborn days, or chasing toddlers through the grass and my goal is to help you hold onto what it really felt like, not just how it looked.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m at home with my own little family, which makes this work even more meaningful to me. I understand how quickly these moments pass, and how important it is to slow them down, even just for a little while.
